Helen is the funniest and most down to earth lady I know. She is uber talented and makes the most wonderful fired glass decor items! We’ve started buying and stocking some of her smaller wares, but she does amazing larger items too such as splash backs for kitchens and bathrooms that are very coveted! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Helens cosy and very well stocked workshop, but I haven’t yet booked on to one of the popular workshops she hosts! Having spoke to Helen recently, I know she is a qualified teacher and is currently a lecturer in a university. So I have no doubt what so ever that when I do book on to a workshop, I will be very capable and passionate hands when it comes to learning how to make my own fired glass piece of art.

I have visited Fired contemporary glass studios on more than one occasion to purchase gifts for family as, the art pieces are unique and also very affordable. The artist is always happy to give an explanation of the item purchased giving it a special feel. We were shown the kiln and how the glass is made. I have 2 pieces in my own home and hope they will become treasured family heirlooms in the future. The studio is close to Lymm Dam and easy to find - well worth a visit
