  Opened the window to let some air in, returned to a letter stating we’d been charged 200£ for “ smoking in the room “. Apparently smelt by other customers in the hallway. Plot twist - neither of us have ever smoked in our lives. Treated terribly over it, and accused of smoking. Different story from different members of staff would seem they were trying their luck because of an open window! A real shame as location is great but customer service is diabolical. Will find elsewhere next time, hopefully with better customer service. Instantly deduct 200£ but have to wait 5-7 days for a refund! Not good enough. Can’t recommend.

  Don't be fooled by the pictures, breakfast was some instant oats and a couple of croissants on a cake stand, no grab and go bags either. The rooms aren't like the pics either, laid out very strangly (toilet, sink and shower in three separate bits of the room?!) Lots of mirrors all tinted dark so you can't actually do your makeup or check an outfit, and the lights only go off in the shower and toilet if you slide the mirror doors shut. Reception didn't speak good English and took a few attempts to understand each other! Overheard talking about their tips. Useful location and ok for the price. Bed was comfy and there was a (empty) mini fridge I could put food in. Tea in room but no coffee

  Staff were really friendly and helpful! Location is really good and easy to find. The rooms are nice and spacious, however the layout of the rooms is a bit odd...I walked in and thought that I was opening the mirror door to the wardrobe, but it was the toilet; the wardrobe and the shower share another sliding mirror door space. I'd definitely stay here again though!

  Dirty rooms, mirrors sometimes damaged, electricity plugs not working, carpet very unclean. Stay away from this hotel, not at all worth the price!

  (Translated by Google) Very friendly staff, hotel from the outside and in the entrance area very nice. Unfortunately our room had nothing to do with the pictures on the website. Standard Light was specified as 13 square meters, as well as a desk, etc. Our room was 6 square meters, so you can hardly open your suitcase and we had 2 of them with us. The shower was in the small hallway in the wall, opposite the toilet and sink behind a sliding door. The sloping ceilings on one wall didn't make it any better, and the sockets by the bed didn't work either. Walking around the bed was hardly possible due to lack of space and sloping ceilings. The condition was also poor, not very clean, and some damage to the walls. Unfortunately not worth the money at all. Rebooking to another room was not possible. At check in we were told this was the standard room size, at check out when I gave a truthful review was told it was the smallest room. 6 square meters are absolutely out of the question. You couldn't even hang up a jacket to dry and unfortunately there is enough rain in England. The 2 stars are only for the friendly staff. (Original) Sehr freundliches Personal, Hotel von außen und im Eingangsbereich sehr schön. Leider hatte unser Zimmer mit den Bildern auf der Website nichts zu tun. Standard Light war angegeben mit 13 qm, sowie Schreibtisch etc. Unser Zimmer hatte 6 qm, da bekommt man kaum den Koffer auf und wir hatten 2 davon dabei. Die Dusche war in dem kleinen Flur in der Wand, gegenüber Toilette und Waschbecken hinter einer Schiebtür. Die Dachschrägen an einer Wand machten es nicht besser, ebenso funktionierten die Steckdosen am Bett nicht. Herumlaufen um das Bett ging wegen Platzmangel und Dachschrägen kaum. Der Zustand war auch mangelhaft, nicht sehr sauber, dazu einige Beschädigungen an den Wänden. Das Geld leider absolut nicht wert. Umbuchen auf ein anderes Zimmer war nicht möglich. Beim Check-in wurde uns gesagt das wäre die Standard-Zimmergröße, beim Checkout, als ich eine wahrheitsgemäße Bewertung gegeben habe, wurde gesagt es wäre das kleinste Zimmer. 6 qm sind absolut indiskutabel. Da konnte man nichtmal eine Jacke zum Trocknen aufhängen und Regen gibt es in England ja leider doch genug. Die 2 Sterne gibt es lediglich für das freundliche Personal.
