Nice little library, lots of activities going on for kids (which is great to see) not the largest selection of books you'll ever see, but if just want a fiction book, sure you'll find something.

I found my ancient library card in a drawer and went to Hedge End library to see if it was still valid. It wasn't - no surprise there. The lady behind the desk was most helpful and issued me a new card. She also explained how I can use any Hampshire library and also how to use their online digital services to read newspapers and magazines for free.
