Sadly now seems to have closed as a hotel. Stayed on Business. Its was a unique place - My experience was delightful. I felt more like I was staying with relatives who owned a stately home than staying at a hotel. The furniture was old and the décor was old-fashioned. My room was vast, with fantastic old wallpaper and amazing Victorian plumbing in the bathroom, but despite the age it was spotlessly clean. I loved the views over the grounds. I enjoyed the food. I thought it was very good value. Sad to have not had a chance to go back.

Not stayed there but attended many RSOC shows on it's grounds, which are nice, as is the hotel building. The food served is a bit ropey
