Prescription requests are not taken over the phone. My neighbour has dementia and can't use the app or email. Technology is great for the young but what about those left behind ? She could go to the surgery but not easy with limited mobility. Thankfully I've been able to help, but what about other patients in similar situations?

On April 3, I had an appointment with a nurse named Thrash. I would like to say a huge thank you to her for her courtesy, professional help and moral support, which I received for the first time after moving to this clinic.

I’ve never had trouble with this practice, the staff are so welcoming and understanding. This has changed today. I’ve just been for an appointment I have had booked for over 3 weeks. I mentioned to the dr I wanted to ask something after the consultation if that was ok, to be told no this is not ok and one thing only. Firstly, that’s ok, if it was explained nicer and in a friendly tone, secondly the Dr I saw today, doesn’t know me, or my medical history nor did she know what I wanted to ask or how I’m feeling. Currently sat in the car park opposite the surgery in tears due to how rubbish she made me feel. Thanks!

This Surgery is so bad, everything takes an Age dropped a medical form in that needed to returned asap, to be told it will take upto 28 days, on top of that to get an appointment with a Doctor would be 13 days. Who ever you speak to says they don't work in that Department and they can't help you any further avoid at all costs

Going to the Doctors is never an enjoyable experience for me. In the past I have found that I feel a burden when I ever need to see someone. However, this is the first time I have been to this Surgery and I would like to say how lovely and friendly all the staff were. Dr Ahmed has to be the best Doctor I have seen in a long time. He really listened and didn't make me feel like I was wasting anyone's time. Highly recommend this place. Should I need to request an appointment in the future I would now not hesitate.

Utterly rubbish! Extremely rude staff and unreliable GP's. Stay away from them and never register here! 👎🏻👎🏻

There needs to be a 'no star' option to cover GP practices like Heaton Norris Health Centre. Absolutely the pits. The staff in reception are horrible - either kids who don't know what doing a job of work is, or middle-aged hariddans who are clueless to customer service. Doesn't seem to be anyone in charge or willing to sort this place out. When you do eventually get to a GP, they don't seem that on top of things either and I've had some questionnable interactions. If they just got rid of the reception staff and had some sort of online booking system it would save so much grief and exposure to genuinely horrible people. I'm staying with the practice as it's easier than leaving and finding a new one, but not one I would recommend for anyone to join if they can find an alternative.

I have been with this practice for about 35 years. Appointments can be tricky to get but that's the same everywhere. Nearly my whole family are here. If you give a good history of your problem the GPs and nurses have always been excellent. One time they even saw a relative from Ireland who was very unwell and were excellent with him. They answer emails in a couple of days. I also find telephone appointments great for certain things. Who has time when working to see a Dr about a simple thing that can be checked over the phone. It might be better to check if patients prefer telephone appointments and give them to those that dont mind. I know some people have communication issues not good for the telephone.
