Avoid if possible! You call at 8.00 am when they open and they don't have any slots left. No face to face appointment, no referral, etc, tragic!

2023 Update: I continue to be impressed by my care at Heathfielde - on a number of occasions I have completed an eConsult and I was called back within a few hours or at the latest the following day. For non-urgent problem, this is a really effective system. I have been able to upload pictures which have been reviewed and referrals made quickly for me to collect. When I have called up for a more urgent problem, I’ve dropped off a urine sample at 10am and had antibiotics for my child issues electronically within a few hours. Recently registered at this practice and have found all the medical and reception staff to be friendly, caring and competent. All my post natal/new baby appointments were made swiftly and onward referrals and investigations completed quickly too. I’ve never had any trouble getting a phone consultation, often on the same day. Prescriptions were issued immediately and electronically straight to my pharmacy. Keep up the good work!

Rebecca was an absolute star, with 5 star service! PLUS an amazing person to help me out today! We are so lucky to be registered with Heathfielde with such incredible and efficient service. We have also dealt with other members of the team who have given us excellent supportive service.

Would give zero starts if I could. it is almost impossible to get a hold of someone. The cue has a cut-off at 10 people waiting. If you don't make into the first 10 you have to continuously try calling to hopefully come through at a time point where there is an opening in the queue. Today I had to call 65(!) times to make it into the queue where I had to then wait for another 19 minutes. If at this point you are lucky enough to get an appointment you can rest assured it will be a telephone consultation as the doctors are refusing to actually see any patients since Covid. What an utter disgrace for the medical profession! Today I have been asked to send in a picture of a wound my 18-month old has in the back of her palate. How is that supposed to work? How can you rely on pictures with questionable quality taken by non-medical staff to make diagnoses? Some of the receptionists are also quite rude. They are in such a hurry that they have hung up on me mid-sentence on two occasions as I was asking for the GP to not call me back but my partner instead as I wouldn't be available. My only positive experience has been with Dr Gibeon who is/was the only GP who has continued doing in person consultations. If it wasn't for him I would give zero stars if I could.
