Shocking - having been with Bupa and Aviva - this isn’t comparable. Website is terrible, not clear on how to make a claim or add onto existing claim. Take forever to answer phone lines. Once a claim is authorised, they take 1-2 working days to send a badly laid out TEXT of who you can go to - which in my opinion is beyond shoddy in terms of time and quality of service. They sent me the details of a consultant who didn’t even work at said clinic anymore and so I booked another one at that same clinic. After I’d had the treatment, they then told me it wasn’t covered even though their text only said ‘if you choose to use another provider, let us know.’ In my opinion, this was the same provider as it was the same clinic, but apparently provider means consultant. How was I supposed to know that? Beyond misleading and I feel conned as obviously I wouldn’t have gone ahead if I knew it wasn’t covered. Now potentially having to fork out £400-£500 for treatment I thought was covered. Absolutely appalling.

Had this policy a few years, had to make a claim and it was refused. It took them a month to process my claim and that was with us phoning them many times. Please be careful with this company.

I owe Health On Line a massive thank you for helping me switch over from BUPA who I had been with for many years. I saved a lot of money for better cover last year and when I made a claim for a hernia it was very straight forward. Thank you for a good service

My advice is to stay clear of this company. We paid into their insurance for 18 months to the tune of £220 per month. My wife had a small problem with her knee and they took weeks to move the claim forward, we had to do all the chasing, in the end I just gave up and paid the bill myself. These people promise everything when you sign up but are just appalling with their service if you have to claim. You have been warned!
