I didn't know much about reiki before I arrived and I was worried that I wasn't spiritual enough for it to work on me. I came with an open mind and thought at the very least it would be a lovely relaxing hour of 'me time' and nice little break from the stresses of everyday life. Kat is an extremely warm person and made me feel comfortable from the minute I arrived. The atmosphere was beautiful, not a cold clinical beauty room that I expected. The lighting, decor, music, scents and essential oils really complimented the therapy. Even though I struggled to relax, I was really shocked with the physical sensations that I felt during the session. Vibrating, heat and flashes of light all came through and it so really interesting to hear the run down Kat gave me about what she picked up on, after the session was over. I left the session more relaxed than I have ever felt in my life, as if I'd taken some really strong sedatives! In the days following, I noticed that my mind was clearer, I was less emotional, and the general anxieties I used to feel had significantly reduced. I have since been back to Kat for 2 more sessions, and I get more from it every time I go. She really has an incredible gift, and I will continue to have treatments regularly.

So I went to what can be described as an unreal experience. Having nothing but an open mind I booked in for a reiki with kat I knew nothing about the healing process before my session. Walking in to what felt like a safe place (corona in mind) the room and the smells and settled me before I was invited to lie down. Kat asked me if I knew much about reiki to which I replied a healing of the hands 🙌! What I didn’t know is that the healer experiences the same feelings as you during the therapy and I was blown away by the transparency of feelings and colours that we both saw and felt during my session and how the healer is connected to your experiences. Through my sessions from head to toe I checked my feelings and what I could see and my healer kat without me saying a word after the session described exactly what I saw in myself and felt ! I felt lighter kat explained she felt an extra presence whilst honing In on my head shakra and that felt true when I saw the beginning of an open blue shadow become An open blue vastness, which I didn’t know what to make of but concluded it was kat helping me through my reiki ! Throughout my body I felt different feelings and colours but that was the strongest and we both felt that which made me feel a great connectivity not only to myself and my feelings but an openness to others I hadn’t experienced. Reiki is a therapy but what makes it different is the shared experience with the practitioner ! As I said I went in went in with an open mind, I’ve had therapy and we spoke about that but only after reiki could I allow myself to experience My feelings and connect with them. Kat is a great practitioner and I am booked in every 2 weeks to allow myself to connect with my shakras and the energy I feel whilst in therapy I would not have felt otherwise. Fully recommend kats reiki if not just for yourself to feel more motivated and open in yourself. She’s experienced and a wonderful human being the connection is stronger than Any other therapy.

I was hearing more and more things regarding reiki and felt intrigued to find out more. When I arrived for my appointment, I was feeling a mix of nerves and excitement, however I was instantly put at ease and Kat explained every step and made sure I was comfortable before the session started. I had a wonderful experience and once it was over, Kat took the time to go over any questions or feelings I had. I can’t wait to go back again!
