Great training for those who have never trained your GSD, but regardless of your dog's previous training you always start in the beginners class. Not suitable for every dog, especially overreactive dogs, but if you want to help your puppy learn the basics of heel and a little recall it's perfect. Not great, but not bad pricing, we paid £35 for a membership and £35 for 5 lessons and an induction (£5/per lesson + induction paid upfront). The induction for us was 2 hours of standing around listening to someone tell us stories and explaining how the sessions work, and your dog has to be there stood in a small circle surrounded by maybe 5 other dogs (again for 2 hours without training, just standing there) all of the information given could have just been in an email, by the end of the induction all the dogs in our group were restless and screaming/barking at each other. Initial sessions are great, but again lots of standing around and listening around a couple meters away from some possibly very reactive dogs trying to pull off their owners arm to get to your dog. Not ideal for every dog/trainer, perfect for those who have never trained how to heel/recall. Averages of 10 dogs per group. Also they don't seem to believe in correcting your dog, so if it's misbehaving, you won't get told how to fix it, it's operated under the assumption that all dogs only need food and toys for prey drive and a gentle voice. Worth a shot, but we've tried a lot of trainers around Leeds, these guys rank 4 on our list.

We joined the club with our puppy a few months ago had a great induction talk which explained about the club/classes what to expect etc then we moved on to puppy classes. The instructors are all really friendly, helpful and passionate about what they do. Unfortunately after a few weeks lockdown 3 came is so the classes had to stop, however this never meant we were left unsupported. The instructors were fab online, posting training videos, hints and tips and also personalised advise. Great to be back over the last few weeks. Can’t recommend highly enough.
