Head & Wheble are exceptional funeral directors who I can highly recommend. My brother passed away under unfortunate circumstances and we nearly gave him a direct cremation. Thank God we came to senses the day before the cremation was due to take place. Cheryl was extremely understanding of our change of mind and reorganised everything for us at very short notice. This was all handled with kindness and nothing was too much trouble. We don't live in Bournemouth so everything was arranged over the telephone and email. Cheryl recommended a celebrant, Chris Kelly, who delivered the service with caring and professionalism. H&W also recommended a venue for the reception afterward. The crematorium was beautiful and my brother got a decent send-off and this was all thanks to Cheryl and the team.

From the moment of my first conversation I knew I'd found the funeral directors right for our family, Cheryl was wonderful, she was human and kind, the funeral went just as our dad would've wanted, non religious with a sense of quirky too. A great recommendation of Chris who spoke as though he knew him. Thank you Head and Wheble for not only being there when we needed you but also collecting our dad before Xmas and giving him a place to rest away from the hospital ❤️

Would highly recommend. It was the crematorium that first suggested Head and Wheble. Bob managed my father's cremation so informatively, caringly and smoothly that I didn't hesitate to return when my mother passed 6 months later. Simon managed her service and cremation similarly and proved an excellent MC, adding a personal touch we all appreciated.
