Some months ago someone called Jenny emailed me and offered me a possible role at Southampton City Council. I said I was interested and available for interview but was abroad that week, but could interview via Skype or when back. I was then told that 'they want to see face to face interviewees first' suggesting that 1. interviews were already lined up so it was pointless emailing me in the first place or , 2. She could not be bothered to arrange a Skype interview or wait one week for me to return. Waste of time and got my hopes up.
