    The heyride is a nice modern attractive estate pub with an excellent choice of beer including cask conditioned real ale. There is an extensive food menu, with some great food. A large comfortable single room with TV's and a pool table. Outside seating, a children's play area and a large car park. The staff are very welcoming and best of all, unlike Wetherspoons the pub is DOG FRIENDLY.

    The food was ok but could do with clearing tables a lot quicker slightly off putting seeing tables that need clearing when you walk in also tables that have been cleared could do with wiping down hopefully when they get more staff things will get a lot better

    Second time visiting this establishment, the first time I waited 2 hours to get my food and had to eat after the group i was with was long finished. The second time the card machines was down so I went to get some cash came back and when they wouldn’t take my BlueLightCard was rudely told “well you could go somewhere else”. The only good thing I can say is the food is good and the place looks nice but the service, technology and attitude of the staff is well below the standard need to be an establishment who (in there own words on a previous review) strive to provide a top notch service.

    Hot day so sat outside tabs ends all over near the entrance around tables . Ordered food chicken was raw and when cut into it water sprayed out onions was raw peas was cold . Food was very poor tbh. Chicken takes time to cook can't be done in 10 mins from ordering .reading down these reviews it seems everyone says the same poor food but they respond and haven't done anything about it. Won't be going back could of poison me that chicken
