Red letter day yesterday when Stephen Haynes came to tune my piano after years of disregard. With patience and great care, he brought it back to life, so that it now sounds better than it ever has before. A gentleman of great patience and courtesy, he let me know when he would be here and charged a very reasonable amount, just as described on his website. I purchased a 'pre-loved' piano for my son at Christmas as he wanted to learn how to play. I found one locally, but it needed tuning and the guys at Musical Den in Leamore passed Stevens details to me. He came at a convenient time for me, was very courteous and clearly knew his stuff! He gave me lots of background and understanding of the piano I had purchased and even dated it for me... and obviously, did a great job in bringing it back to good heath with a great tune up, all at a reasonable price. Stephen did a fantastic job repairing and tuning a vintage upright piano. Another piano tuner had told us there was no hope because of damage but Stephen was indeed able to get the piano fully working and tuned again which is wonderful.
