Very disappointing. Trees along the stream are all completely swamped in ivy which needs to be removed or all the trees will die. The field is ok for dog walkers but has been planted out with saplings too close together. The field next to the trees had been planted with hazel probably 7-10 years ago and in regimented rows only 2 feet apart. This will need to be thinned very soon or it will form an impenetrable wall.

Dog-friendliness: Great place for dogs to run free. Unfortunately, in their great wisdom, Walsall council have shut the main car park, WELDING the gates and resulting in having to park across the road.. by the Fountain mobile cafe. Crossing the main road is extremely dangerous, especially for older folk as no provision for a pedestrian crossing facility has been taken .. or even a traffic warning sign to highlight the danger? Walsall council are being extremely stupid with any requests to justify this closure blaming the Police .. a so called public safety issue? WHAT A JOKE ..
