Lovely Haven site, we would love to come back. Great activities, lovely caravan, close to lovely beach. Walkability: Well maintained site. Swimming pool could do with investment, but great lifeguards and hard working staff.

Its no frills, self catering caravans, remote check in and out so you just drop your key in the deposit box at reception when you leave. Location is great, we went to the beach, the aquarium, Blue Pool and took a ferry to Brownsea Island, all of which was brilliant especially as we were lucky with the weather Facilities at the park are good, its got its own strip of beach down the hill which does canoeing and boat hire i think. The park itself has got a co-op minimart, totally overpriced but sells everything you can think of. Theres a pool, arcade, reception area and a restaurant which was quite nice (and has a dog friendly section) The caravan itself was decent, theyre all pretty much the same. Our shower drain was blocked so showering was a pain until my husband unblocked it with bleach and boiling water. In fairness we did not tell the staff so cant comment on if they would have sorted it for us Having said that we accidentally blocked the kitchen sink and they came out extremely quickly and fixed it for us. We went in term time so site wasnt too noisy, well maintained, over a really good break away!

We came to Rockley Park last year, the breakfast was delicious, we were looking forward to it again. However this year it was absolutely disgusting, the sausages were like rubber, (another couple were also complaining) absolutely rock hard, it was difficult to cut through them let alone chew them, there was absolutely no taste to them and there was a very hard piece of gristle which really hurt my teeth, needless to say we couldn’t eat them, the toast was burnt, the bacon was cold. Plus, I was served only 1 and a half mushrooms (this is not a portion). My husband and son had 2 mushrooms. It cost over £40 for 3 people. The Costa coffee was not nice, it was dripping from the cups, all over the table. We ordered a caramel latte and the server forgot the caramel, this was soon rectified though, but it didn’t taste nice at all. Going forward: I would suggest that there are more mushrooms as that was not an appropriate portion, provide decent sausages that are cooked correctly and fresh and also ensure the Costa coffee if made correctly as I do not believe Costa would sponsor your attempts under their logo. Please rectify this for future customers!!!
