I am writing this as someone who has never stayed on a Haven site before, and I want everyone new to the experience to understand prior to booking, what they will be getting. We stayed in a standard 2 bed chalet and we were 6 adults and a small dog... which it advertises it as. 1. You will need to bring 2 extra duvets as only 4 are provided 2. There is no cleaning service if you are staying for the week, or change of bed linen 3. They do not provide towels and each person only has 1 pillow 4. You cant all eat at the table at once, it only seats 4 5. The fridge is very small, it wont fit more than a days food in at a time. There is a tiny fereezer section but it hadnt been defrosted so couldnt really be used 6. There is no place for clothes etc for anyone sleeping in the front room 7. No cleaning equipment, not even a hoover, considering its a dust site by the sea.... sand EVERYWHERE 8. No outside seating at all 9. No way to cool the chalet if hot, only a heater 10. No wifi or 4g signal at the chalet, only in the main area 11. Only 1 shelf in the oven 12. Only one power socket per room, pack an extension lead 13. When you leave, you need to empty your own bins and strip the beds What we needed to bring/buy when there ; . Hand towel for bathroom . Own shower towels . Toilet roll, kitchen roll . Washing up liquid, sponge . Tea towels . Bin liners . Cleaning products . Hand soap . Own cooking trays Simple things Haven could do to improve the overall site ; . Fill in the pot holes in the gravel and lower car park, they are really bad . Clean off the gull poo from the street lights . Clean the moss from the chalet roofs . A lick of paint on the outside of all chalets . A lick of paint on the outside of the 'Funworks' . Give a set closing time for the Nisa shop - not just whenever someone decides..... this is very annoying . Regular cleaning of outside tables in the main area due to gulls and high usage . Better signage for the coastal walk to Perranporth from the site . More than ONE recycling bin on the site . Make it clear how to buy launderette tokens

Gone a little downhill, needs modernisation. Location is the best part, just off Perranporth beach. Didnt use much of the on park facilities, but due to the lower quality accommodation compared to previous years, we wont be visiting again and will try elsewhere. Rooms: Tired and in need of updating. Nearby activities: Great location

the accommodation is pretty decent but areas need improvements, the biggest one is that the whole central complex including pool, restaurants, supermarket etc needs flattening and rebuilding. the adventure golf needs rebuilding as it is really tired looking. it’s not clear what time the supermarket is open until as the close time has tape over it. don’t bother with the restaurant, has some lovley views and some lovely staff. aside from the central section the park could do with better signage but its an ok place to stay, probably wouldn’t rush back here and instead go to white acres half a hour away

You enter the park & get the holiday vibes straight away - but once you drive onto the touring fields - those safari tents make it look like refugee camp - covered in seagull excrement doeant help - just take them down! That said the toilets & shower just could not be cleaner and the rest of the site was lovely The real shock was the very steep & long path down to the beach. We had a great week and would stay again
