Well we ordered 2 drinks and a meal white Bait with a salad and baguette came in a takeaway box which I understand but one slice of cheap brown bread and a very small salad garnish for the meal £12,95 alone . not impressed Wont eat here again and it’s our local rip off don’t eat here would never return even though new owners as still serving in cardboard packaging so beware when eating here after re visiting over the weekend the food is still being served in paper packaging and carry bags and charging crazy prices would not eat here prefer my meal to eat outside in the sun not paper packaging

Great very old inn. Unfortunately seating, bench seating round walls, was very narrow and uncomfortable.

Children and dogs not allowed in, the guy behind the bar had a bad attitude. Looks great food but can't comment on it as we weren't allowed in. Never heard of somewhere in a tourist spot that doesn't allow kids, especially as we've just spent the last hour crabbing.

Lovely location to spend a day and evening. We have been a number of times and always have a meal, however the prices have doubled since we were last here, fish and chips from the cafe £14.50. Sorry guys at these prices we will not be returning. We live in London and can get fish & chips for half that price. Maybe we will try another local place instead. Thank you for the reply however I was served in the cafe not the pub. And a small fish & chips wrapped in paper should not cost £14.50. You have a captured audience due to your location, as an independent you can be different and not charge families silly money. Please do not use the cost of living crisis as an excuse to over charge. Maybe you could look at different menus for your cafe and pub, this would then give people options on what they wanted to spend on having food wrapped for a takeaway or eat on a plate in the pub. Just a thought.
