Have to say this is the best holiday park I've ever been too. The caravan was excellent, spacious, clean, modern, and in a great location. The staff were very friendly, even the chef at the chippy yelling "thank you" when we bought fish and chips - it's the small things you notice. Reception staff super friendly and cheerful. And then the whole process of checking in and checking out was simple and quick. I was really super impressed with everything here, well done everyone who works at this holiday park.

Great place! Fantastic food at a great price. However, drinks are a little pricey. Efficient friendly staff, lots to do for the kids and felt very safe to let the children run around. I was visiting a friend who is an owner with my children for 2 nights over the weekend All communal areas were clean and tidy The swimming pool changing area was also very clean. Throughly enjoyed our stay :)

Unfortunately, we have mixed feelings about our stay. Firstly, the site itself is lovely. It was peaceful and attractive and was surprisingly flat. The staff were warm and welcoming, and couldn't do enough to help. We enjoyed the food at the Mash and Barrel, had some fun in the arcade too. We stayed in a silver caravan, and it was nice enough, about what you'd expect. A reasonable amount of space, clean and tidy, and the usual modern comforts. Unfortunately, we went without any hot water for the first few days of our stay. It took a couple of visits for the plumbers to nail down the problem, but obviously not a great start. Additionally, while we generally know what to expect in terms of what is supplied at a Havens, we were disappointed to find a lack of a few things. Firstly, we were provided with no way to keep the carpets clean. Normally, there is some sort of manual hoover/sweeper, but there was no nothing. There was also a lack of sharp knives, just a bread knife, so cooking was fun. We were prepared for a lack of rubbish bags in the caravan, but was surprised to find that the shop doesn't sell them, so had to improvise. Finally, and our biggest problem, was a lack of comfort. The chairs had very little padding or space to actually sit, so when we were trying to rest, it was difficult. Also, and I realise this may be personal preference, the beds had absolutely no support. They felt wobbly and had no firmness whatsoever. We sadly went most of our time there without sleep. Ultimately, we left 2 days early as we just wanted to go home and sleep. I feel that maybe with a different caravan this could have been a really great stay, but for what we did experience I'm afraid I couldn't recommend it.
