Poor customer service! Today I went in to book an appointment as I wasn’t directed correctly on the phone to be told I needed to sort this online, I was approached by a lady asking how could she help me. Explaining my situation of currently not having a job I was spoken to rudely, questioned constantly like I hadn’t even been listened to properly! Saying thank you out of respect I was blankly stared at until I left. These people are meant to help others not then make remarks and laugh whilst the customers leaving, manners are everything and the staff here definitely haven’t got them. Disgusting how someone who clearly isn’t approachable is working in a centre of help. Highly advise to take the extra few miles to make an appointment at a different job centre.

Had appointment here today me and my husband and for the 1st time in my life this place has maked me feel really bad as person being. Was good at the beginning, when a lady came and asked what I was looking for, I told her why I came and told me to wait. After 2-3 minutes the lady with whom I had the appointment called me to her office. I sat down and told her I had everything I was told to get to be verified. Very repellent tells me that the letter from the insurance number is not proof of identity, I say nice it is not proof of identity, I was told to have it with me and I handed it her my passport. Then she saw what nationality I am and started asking questions to a colleague, if the letter from the insurance number is accepted by them, what can she take from me as proof of identity ... I responded nicely to everything what he asked me and tried to explain to her that these are the papers I was told to bring. But every question and every response I received from the lady was disrespectful and racist, which I do not think is normal, especially when you go into a public sector to sort out a family thing. She asked me if I have a card at the bank and on which card I get the children's allowance, I handed her the card and I specified that it is a joint account with my husband. After check coincide sort code and account number she tells me that she does not accept as prof as apear my husband name too. I said to her that the is a joint account, she did not seem to want to understand what I was saying and so. So racist that when I told him what nationality I have repeated the country, or even nationality as I answered it. very disappointing to meet such people working in the public domain directly with the people’s , I went there definitely this visit was an act of racism on me and my baby who in the play wanted to pull the lady's badge from the table and she stumbled ... somehow believed that my baby would eat her badge and what was next to them.... I canot accept such treatment and attitude from a public official. we are in the European Union and, as far as I know, Britain is still ...
