A mixed review I have been with mind for 4 years now Positives: they offer a good calm and warm space they offer me a safe space to be myself always happy to help Negatives about mind: they have a lack of groups lack of staff a certain member of staff has been disrespectful I understand that I change my name and I respect that people forgot however when somebody at mind keeps deadnaming me it’s kind of annoying the groups they do offer are really positive but they don’t have enough however I love being at mind but sometimes it’s kind of disappointing

Update 2: Feb 2020: Today I was told by Mind that although I have been on the waiting list for my course for over a year, I am now required to attend at least two other courses before I will be allowed to go on it! Even though my GP referred me for that specific course which I was on the waiting list for! Had enough now. I give up. Mind are the most unprofessional, unreliable organisation, that I have ever dealt with. Going back to my GP for advice. Update: It has now been OVER A YEAR that I have been waiting for Mind to run the course, having originally been referred there by my GP. It makes you wonder where all the money goes that Mind take in their charity shops? Not on running my course, that's for certain! Hopeless organisation. I have been on their books since December last year and I am still waiting for the course I am supposed to be going on to run. Every few months I get fobbed off by them saying that they haven't got enough staff to run the course. I have been waiting over 8 months, absolutely disgraceful.
