Product quality is generally good. However, an issue arose today. Walking past the shop at 4.50pm the staff had already finished clearing away and the meat was covered. Walking back to the shop at around 5.15pm, the shop was closed. Thursday’s business hours clearly state 8-5.30pm. Unfortunately we were unable to place a substantial order.

Not an issue with the quality of food but major issue and disgust with the quality of service. It is quite obvious that they prefer a certain type (or should I say colour) of customer. Shameful that this kind of discrimination still exists. Woman in the shop was very rude

I just recomend to check your meat,, i dont have much to say after couple emails send to Hatto&Son, my only word is DISGUSTING!!!! 1 Sirloin and 2 Rib eye can anyone see the diference from good to really Bad Rib Eye?? ***They replied Luis I assume you are referring to the darker ( more aged ) rib eye . I completely understand if it is not to your liking and i can see how it stands out against the fresher sirloin. I have to inform you it will eat extremely well and we have a lot of customers who would always choose to have their steak like this. Our online ordering worked very well during covid and for those who need a delivery service , however as professional butchers we would much rather serve our customers face to face , show them what we have to offer then they can always go home with meat to their liking. I am more than happy for you to put the steak you are not happy with in the freezer, return to us at your convenience when we will refund or replace. I am sorry you were not happy with the meat that was selected for you but rest assured we strive to make all our customers happy . Regards John Hatto John Hatto !! In general I was satisfied with the quality of the products a couple of times I went to the physical store but out of the 5 orders I placed online, in one instance an item was missing and I called the shop but they never took any action, in one case I had to go and pick up the order by myself as they were running late and they wouldn't be able to deliver(they never called to inform me) and on my last order 1/3 they sent an item that was expired 5/2. Despite the fact that I sent them an email the same day they never replied or took any action. I find it very frustrating and I wouldn't use their service...
