Doesn't seem to be the best of train stations but it has basic facilities like a ticket office, toilets, even a disabled toilet. Shelters look old fashioned and the station seems good enough for trainspotting. Car parking is provided, costing an arm and leg as expected and step free access is only available for the London bound platform.

Sometimes the ticket machine doesn't work and there is nobody working there, in that case just get the train and explain the situation, but other than that there are seats outside and even sofas inside.

Rubbish train station, theres almost never any staff around to talk to regarding train times etc. Toilets are always locked way before they’re supposed to be closed. Just wish there would be staff around after 4pm.
