When you live 4 hrs away from your rental property, you really do need to have a letting agent that you can trust to manage your property and tenants with care. Sadly this has not been the case with a previous agent which has resulted in an ongoing deposit dispute and the need for a complete refurbishment of the property well ahead of expected. I was so pleased to find Hat and Home. Right from the start of the refurbishment, Annie and her team regularly followed the progress, offering good advice, and really seemed invested in the property and a good outcome. The property was finished and advertised less than 2 weeks ago, tenants were found almost immediately and the new tenancy starts today. I couldn’t be happier, and I hope the tenants will be too! Hat and Home fees were very transparent, and reasonable - no hidden extras and no annual deposit charges. As a former letting agent myself, I know the value in being contactable and responsive, and the ladies at Hat and Home not only fulfilled this criteria, but went above and beyond to ensure that everything happened in a timely fashion (thank you Annie & Sam). Of course, tenanting the property is only the start, but if the management is as efficient and professional as what I’ve experienced so far, then Hat and Home are a rare gem indeed.

Didn’t purchase through Hat and Home in the end, but agent Barnaby Coles was always prompt to viewings, easy to contact and chose some fantastic properties to show us around which helped us along our journey decide the right property for us.
