We were sold 4 conifers at GBP 600 that we were told did not require much maintenance for a year +. Turns out they need watering twice a day to stop the cones from degrading and it was unknown how long they were in the pots for and need transferring. Returned them within 10 days and was greeted with disdain. Louise was very rude and insulting by saying I had no common sense and Harry, who sold us the plants and proffered the advise, hid!

Good choice of products. When I went the staff weren't particularly helpful. Looking for weedkiller and they basically said pick whatever you want and hopefully it'll work.

A lot of the stock indoors appears to have very little to do with gardens,which is puzzling for a garden centre, but sadly clearly a money spinner with coach parties etc. Garden Style is now part of the site, which gives you access to more mature trees and shrubs. Decent stock of plants in main nursery. Definitely worth a visit. Some plants are in alphabetical order but others are at random. Really irritating that you have to wander around aimlessly to find the plant that you are seeking.

Super garden centre full of all your gardening needs. Also has lovely gift items plus cards and pottery. The restaurant is a great place to lunch. Outdoor and indoor plants all looked brilliant.
