I cannot recommend Harvey Cooper Cars, especially Nick, highly enough. From the first enquiry phone call, we knew we were going to the right place. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, not at all pushy and happy to give us all the time we needed to make a decision. The choice of cars is amazing - all beautifully pristine and the two we had initially made contact about were taken into the showroom to be viewed in comfort before we arrived. Even then, we couldn't help buy spy another we would like to look at and without hesitation, that was also taken into the showroom. We knew we wouldn't be leaving that day without a sale being made. Thank you Nick and team - we will be back!

On both occasions everyone I dealt with was polite, friendly and helpful. All transactions were smooth and they could not have done more for me. Harvey Cooper Cars showing the big dealerships how it’s done. After the most harrowing 5 month ordeal with a main dealer, a lovely example of car came up for sale at Harvey Cooper. Viewing their stock, I could see they clearly curated their forecourt carefully with nice examples of a variety of makes and models. I called about the car and spoke with Nick, who could not have been more helpful. We chatted away about cars and my experience with the main dealer. Nick never seemed in a rush to get you off the phone or at all put out by any questions you had. I had a good feel about Harvey Cooper so decided to hire a car and drive from London to Ripon to see the car. I also booked to stay overnight in the area, which I must say is beautiful and anyone considering doing the same absolutely should. The car was inside the showroom on my arrival, staff were immediately there to greet me and offer refreshments and left myself and my partner without pressure to get familiar with the car I had come to see. Nick was just as friendly and professional in person as he was over the phone and took me around the car. He knows his cars and clearly enjoys the subject, a refreshing experience. I took the car for a test drive, Nick chose a route with a good variety of road types and really allowed me to get a feel for the car. We came back to the dealership and I asked to spend a bit more time with the car, myself and my partner were uninterrupted and left to our own devices which I appreciated. We decided on the spot that we would be buying the car, but had to wait for the main dealer who had messed me about to complete a refund transaction. Nick did not once pressure us, nor try to force finance upon us (although mentioned as it must be!) The icing on the cake, Nick had very kindly offered to have the car transported to me. This allowed me to come up for the weekend in a hire car, bought the car whilst up there and upon my return home the car has been delivered within 24 hours to my door by Charlie, another friendly chap who clearly enjoyed his job. I cannot rate the experience highly enough, if you are at all wary or cautious about making your next purchase I would not hesitate to recommend Harvey Cooper Cars. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and have restored my faith in car dealers (well, perhaps the independent ones!!) A big thumbs up for the “little guys” and a massive thumbs down for the franchise dealers.
