RESPONSE TO HART GABLES Google state that reviews are there for people to share THEIR OWN EXPERIENCES of somewhere and it is NOT a legal requirement for users to put their full name. People prefer handles, therefore it doesn’t mean that their account is fake. As FitnessAndMusic1 states, there is no sight of any policies or procedures on your website. It is evident that you don’t read the reviews; you copied & pasted the same response to every negative review which had a handle, including Michael’s (which is only a 1-star rating). Yet you’re wrongly accusing his account of being fake. A business has the OPTION of responding to reviews; it isn’t mandatory. Yet, you have chosen to do so in an argumentative fashion, depriving people of their own opinions. Your reply also seconds the first sentence of my original review. These guys must bypass the negative reviews as they don't appear to do anything to improve the quality of the service that they provide. If service users have Borderline Personality Disorder or any other underlying condition that isn't known to them (and therefore the charity don't know about it), they unfairly get shown the door! When the charity should apologise for not getting to understand the individual, they don't bother and pile it off through their "grievance procedure" which isn't anywhere to be seen (so who knows if they actually have one). If the charity actually read the reviews on Google (which they haven't done for a few years), they'd know they have some serious improvement work to do. They also removed the reviews section of their Facebook page so they don't have to face the negativity! They'll only pick the positive reviews for their website (which were probably published a few years ago as they don't have dates on them) and chuck the negative ones in the bin.The reply to the first 1-star they received states that 'views are important' (this reply was left 3 years ago), but it doesn't look like it since they obviously aren't doing anything to improve things. The charity are known to lie (especially one member of staff who should be avoided, better yet - sacked, as she's previously made false accusations and she's not the most sympathetic of people either). If you're thinking of accessing this charity, don't believe the decorated image that you see or just rely on the reviews on their website. Read the reviews in this section, which are guaranteed to be recent and TRUTHFUL

Hart gables are a fantastic organisation who have helped me personally, along with the wider LGBTQ+ community. I have previously attended the L-Birds group where I felt supported, welcome and staff there were all approachable when needed. I also took part in the roseberry topping climb for IDAHO. This event was well organised and staff ensured all service users were comfortable with the climb as well as safe and reassured. The roseberry topping climb has continued year after year with larger groups taking part each year which I can only put down to the welcome and engagement you receive from all the staff and other service users taking part. Hart Gables is an integral part of the LGBTQ+ community and i would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing advice, support or as a way of meeting new people.

Absolutely amazing service, i went to the L-birds group and was really made to feel welcome and included. I feel this is a vital service for any of the LGBTQA+ community. The staff do an amazing job and always go the extra mile for its service users. I'd hate to think where some people would be without the support of the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this service. Keep up the great work!!

By far the worst support service that there is. Staff don't care whatsoever, neither do they aim to improve the service that they provide

They have worked tirelessly over the years to expand their service and support all members of the LGBT+ community and as such, provide a wealth of services to members of the local community.
