I used Hart Brown on the recommendation of my sister to do the conveyancing for the sale and purchase of my house. Emma Moore dealt with it and was excellent throughout. I particularly appreciated the speed with which she was able to deal with things (almost everything got turned around within one working day) and her straightforward and practical approach to matters. The purchase was not straightforward at times and her knowledge and advice was always spot on. I'd recommend using Emma and Hart Brown!

Corinne helped me complete on the sale of my flat. Despite issues on the buyers side, we got there with her diligent persistence and effort. We'll worth it.

We received excellent service from Corinne, Senior Legal Executive and Shyamala, legal secretary from Hart Brown Cobham on our recent purchase of an investment property. Corrine was extremely professional and communicative; we feel that she had our best interest at heart with meticulous work and pertinent advice - a real breath of fresh air in the conveyancing industry.

Purchasing a property for the first time I spoke with Hart Brown Cobham branch to begin the process, Corrine was able to provide a clear breakdown of estimated tasks and associated costs to help clearly understand what would be involved throughout the purchase. All work was carried out to a high standard with very clear guidance on each matter, this enabled me to make informed decisions that were critical to the purchase. I would highly recommend any new time buyer to use Hart Brown.

We used Hart Brown Sollicitors for buying our first house as two Dutchies living the UK. The UK market being so different from the Dutch one, we were looking for a reliable partner that guided us through the process from A to Z in a comforting yet professional way. Corinne and Shyamala did exactly that, they were really on the ball in the entire process and really helped us out with everything. I would recommend them over any other solicitor any day of the week.

We have now used Hart Brown (Corinne Flannery) for 2 purchases and a sale, first in 2015 and then again in July 21. In both instances we were under a tight time frame to exchange and complete our transactions and both times Corinne delivered in good time and maintained a calm and professional service throughout - informing us of expected time frames, engaging with the estate agents and other parties and being responsive and available in good time. Talking to others, the price we paid seems reasonable - not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I have recommended their service to other friends and family who went on to use them. If and when we move again I will return to Hart Brown (and hopefully Corinne!) and have no hesitation recommending their overall service to others. Thanks for all your help :)

This was the first time I had sold a property and I also had to renew my lease on my flat as part of the process. I was recommended to Hart Brown by my sister's company who works in the same profession. I must say from the start the professionalism of your employees acommodating to my needs was very good. I worked near the Guildford office and used to pop in there to sign paperwork I dealt a lot with Emma Reynolds she was the assistant of Lewis Myatt who was dealing with the lease side. Emma was a breath of fresh air always nice to speak to very helpful in me understanding the process. Lewis was the guy sorting the lease and again very professional in explaining everything to me. Then when it came to the conveyancing side Corinne Flannery dealt with that and like her colleagues very helpful and accommodating to and nice and helpful on the phone if there was something I didn't understand. Overall I don't have a lot of dealing with solicitors but I would definately recommend Hart Brown and would use them again in the future.

We used Hart Brown for an aborted sale and purchase. We had many problems with their service, the main issue being their complete lack of organisation and communication. The problems were as follows: - There were long periods of zero communication, towards the end of our sale for example there was a period of 2 weeks where we heard nothing from them, the sale fell through shortly after this. - After the sale fell through they failed to notify anyone including myself. I had to administer the rest of the process myself informing the estate agents we were buying our property with and even the mortgage lenders. - They neglected to return our documents until I requested them back - Their email response to my complaints somehow "got lost" and after many months of yet again hearing nothing back from them I had given up on it. Apparently an email was sent out but I have zero records of this and I am very careful with the checking of mail so contend this was ever done correctly. - After we ultimately got the final bill through this was apparently incorrect and did not contain all of the outstanding amounts. - Beyond this Hart Brown are stuck in the past with their process. Having signed up with another firm for our second sale the process was so much more transparent. We had an online portal to accompany our account with a full overview of what was left to do for both sale and purchase. With Hart Brown everything was based in emails and letters. All in all I found their service to be utterly disorganised with dealing with the end of our sale, our complaints and even the billing process. I would never use this firm for any litigation again and certainly don't recommend them. If you are considering signing up for conveyancing do yourself a favour and go for a firm which offers no fee unless completion. A good proportion of firms do this now and it would have saved me around £5k in legal fees and the hassle of dealing with such an antiquated and disorganised firm.
