Appalling. Booked and paid online in the morning, but Harry May failed to turn up to run the 1:30pm trip. Eventually got him on the phone. He said he hadn't checked whether any bookings had come in since breakfast-time! Fortunately we found another boatman, Ian, who took us out for a trip, which was great.

My husband and I took our 4yr old on his first mackerel fishing trip this weekend and we all had an awesome time, Harry was fantastic and we managed to catch our lunch which is a bonus! We will definitely be returning for the 3hr fishing on our next visit.

Had a wonderful time on a deep sea fishing trip with Harry, I am a total beginner but he was really helpful and showed me how to fish, and I caught quite a few in the end - we even saw a squid, which are really rare! I told Harry about my love of fossils and he recommended some wonderful local places for me to visit, as well as telling me all about the fossil documentaries filmed right there on the Cobb. And what better way to round off a lovely trip, than with the freshly caught fish being cooked on the seafront by Herbie's? Delicious and it doesn't get much fresher! I would recommend Harry's to anyone, what a lovely man and a very knowledgeable skipper! Thank you so much for a brilliant morning 🙂🐟🦑

We had the best time on the Harry May boat trip. Harry made a huge effort to make sure we caught our mackerel, really looked after us, especially our 8 and 7 year old girls, and excellent recommendation to get it cooked up at one of the fish shacks on shore - the “Harry Special”. So tasty! Thanks for a great trip and highly recommend.

Harry was amazing, between storms he found time to take out my husband and my youngest son who was desperate to give fishing a go. Even in just one hour my son managed to catch a big garfish. Great experience which I would highly recommend.
