FAQ
What is your school's curriculum and how does it differ from other preparatory schools?
At Harrogate Gymnastics, we offer a specialized curriculum that focuses on gymnastics and parkour training. Our students receive both academic education and physical training, which helps them develop coordination, strength, and flexibility. Our curriculum is unique compared to traditional preparatory schools that mainly focus on academic education. What teaching methods are used by your faculty?
Our faculty uses a combination of traditional and modern teaching methods to help students learn in the best way possible. We use hands-on training, visual aids, and technology to ensure that our students understand and retain information. Our faculty is highly trained and experienced in teaching gymnastics and parkour, which enables them to provide effective instruction to our students. What extracurricular activities are available for students?
We offer a variety of extracurricular activities for our students to participate in, including gymnastics competitions, parkour classes, and recreational programs. These activities provide students with the opportunity to further develop their skills and pursue their interests outside of the classroom. What is the teacher-to-student ratio in the classrooms?
We maintain a low teacher-to-student ratio in our classrooms to ensure that each student receives individual attention and support. Our average ratio is one teacher to every eight students, which enables us to provide personalized instruction and address the unique needs of each student. What opportunities are available for college preparation and placement?
While our focus is primarily on gymnastics and parkour training, we also provide academic education that prepares students for college. Our curriculum includes core subjects such as math, science, and English, which are essential for college preparation. I went there for a few years and it was really good but my sister went and got bullied and they did nothing about it even though we asked about it and we brought it up the receptionist is really nice and so is the club loads of my friends go and they enjoy it its just a shame when we went it wasn't the same but you know it might just be the teacher The one posotive is it is a good space and big so you can do loads but also if your a little child has a class i might end quite late especially for squad it starts at 4:30 and ends at 8:30 and we lived far away so we got home an hour after and sometimes we had to take a baby who should be asleep . Anyway its your view if your reading this so enjoy.
