Had a 24 hour session this week, been struggling a lot in weedy lakes and usually blank. I was shown how to feel around with a lead and find the clear spots. Was shown how to use the heli rig which is new to me. After a couple hours setting up and spending time finding the right spots, within about 10/15 minutes I hooked a 28lb 10oz catfish. Would recommend to anyone no matter what you want to learn. Will definitely be back for another session in the future as it helped me improve my fishing, Iām now confident that with a bit more practice I should start seeing more success on the weedy venues.

Having always wanted to go fishing since I was a child always having an interest but nobody to teach me or take me I was overjoyed when I heard about Harrogate Anglers Club. James made me feel so at ease and comfortable and provided me with all the information I needed to start with the basics. On my first trip I was happy to just catch one fish but I ended up catching plenty. I have now been on multiple sessions including 24 and 48 hours and have caught so many different types of fish and my confidence is rising each time. Such a great experience from start to finish with such a friendly helpful atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The best part was I didnt have to take a thing with me apart from food, baits and rods and everything I needed was included. Thank you James highly recommend
