  Donna was an absolute delight to work with, and to have at our wedding. Nothing was too much for her, she's got a real creative spark and spirit that was so much fun. Her photos and edits are stunning, and everyone felt at ease as she took the pictures.   i am delighted with the photographs taken by Donna during our family Celebration at the Cube in Birmingham in September. Without intruding in any way, Donna captured stunning informal portraits of my family and our friends as well as more formal group photos. This was a Covid gathering, to celebrate the marriage of my youngest son and new daughter-in-law, who had married in Italy (at the third attempt). Most of our UK family had been unable to attend the event, and were delighted to be able to gather to toast the bride and groom.I would not hesitate to ask Donna's help with any events in the future. She was professional as well as friendly to everyone and is a very talented photographer

  Donna was super friendly and I am so happy we chose her to photograph our sangeet night (pre-wedding celebration). She was so lovely and took beautiful photographs of all of our guests. She was very relaxed and happy to go with the flow. I fully recommend her services. :) I especially loved that when I looked back through the photos, there were so many beautiful moments she captured between our guests, lots of small intimate moments. We will no doubt treasure these photos forever. :)

  I've known Donna for a number of years. She initially came to our home and took some family photos, not too long after our daughter was born. We then asked Donna to refresh these photos several times over the past 10 years, despite moving to the other side of the city. This tells all you need to know about the level of trust we developed in Donna's work, and her personally. We got married in 2019 and Donna was the only option for us. She takes such natural photos and felt far more like a guest rather than a 'supplier' for our big day. If you are looking for a photographer that will not only produce fantastic photos for you to keep, but also be someone you can trust to capture the tone of your wedding or other event, then I would 100% recommend you contact Donna.

  Donna was our photographer for our UK wedding party on Saturday 14th September 2019 and she was absolutely amazing! We had got married in Greece and wanted to celebrate with our friends and family back home and capture the night as it unfolded. The photos she took are incredible and she did such a fantastic job. (Which we knew she would!) Her style is so natural and laid back which is what we wanted and she doesn’t stop smiling when capturing the photos. She’s full of lots of ideas which is great to see. We couldn’t be happier with them! She was so patient with us and she didn’t stop capturing lots of little moments for us. She really was a pleasure to be around.   Donna photographed our wedding in December and did an amazing job , we had a lot to fit in , in a short space of time . She was organised and guided everyone along the way and got all the shots that we had asked for and a whole lot more .. I was worried about having photos taken as I always feel self conscious and awkward but Donna made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It was like having a friend over. I had some done whilst getting ready which originally I wasn’t planning on doing that , but having a female photographer who I’d met before the actual wedding day , I went a head and had some in my dressing gown as I felt so comfortable around Donna . Whilst I was finishing getting ready she organised all the other wedding party group shots and was really creative. When I received my photographs from Donna I was blown away, and I’ve had such amazing compliments on the photography, and everyone loves the photos. I highly recommend Donna Harrison smith photography, we are already planning a family photo session in spring 😊

  What an amazing photographer who really captures the intimacy of those special moments. Donna was nothing but professional and friendly - both myself and my husband are not keen on having our photographs taken however her chatty positive approach made us feel at ease. She took some amazing fly on the wall natural shots as well as the classics that you would expect from a wedding . She controlled the group shots and ensured nobody was left out. I have had nothing but positive comments about how fantastic and lovely she was from my guests. My photos (over 400 of them) are all stunning. For anyone looking for a photographer of any kind I would highly recommend her. For those special moments you only get one chance and I know first hand how devastating it is to be unhappy and not be able to 're capture them- avoid that heartbreak by booking a quality photographer like Harrison smith photography.
