The director or MD or whatever want to call him strikes me as the kind of fella who has never before in his life been told "no". He just can't figure out how to deal with it. It seems to be inconceivable to him that he's not getting his way. Any negotiations with Adrian, even tho his a smart and really nice guy has to go his way.
