Terrible school, do not recommend. Has broken the law. Broken the law many times and nothing has come out of it. For example they illegally took away my extra time which is protected under the 2010 equality act. They have also failed many other students aside from myself. If it was not for my parents paying £350 to get my updated dyslexia diagnosis privately, I would not have the help that I need currently. I should not have to pay for a diagnosis, it should be included by the school. There reasoning for taking it way was, ”you are doing really well so you do not need it”. And that decision wasn’t made by a qualified educational psychologist. There are many other children which have been failed by Harris academy chafford hundred that have not been as well off as my self that have been able to receive the diagnosis that they need to succeed.
