Jo is absolutely lovely. She put me at ease and helped me with my decluttering my living room which had several bags and boxes post-house move. I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful woman. My home was full of clutter after I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and was unable to keep up with maintaining my home. Jo came in with a beautiful calming, non-judgmental energy and was more focused on being sure we decluttered at a rate I was comfortable with and now my home feel so light a free. I have to redecorated lol. I have EVERY intention of using her again for other parts of my home we were unable to finish due to time. I have been a client of Jo’s for many years and have always been appreciative of her abilities, skills and energy. She’s totally trustworthy and a fabulous all round person. Recently she helped my teenaged daughter declutter her room and sort her ‘stuff’ before heading off to university. Having someone who is that little bit removed (ie not likely to get stressed at the volume of sweatshirts and leggings stuffed into the wardrobe or get waylaid by the keepsake bought by a grandparent for a special birthday!) was genius! My daughter loved Jo’s lack of judgement and the easy way Jo had of suggesting solutions to what often seemed insurmountable problems. The result? A happy daughter with an organised wardrobe, a plan of what was needed for her university life, a room that no longer resembled a bomb site and a space that she could enjoy and relax. And subsequently a happy mum! My suggestion if you’re thinking of tackling your teen’s room? Invest in some time with Jo and save yourself from the inevitable confrontation doing it yourself would result in!
