  EDIT 2: This person is a scammer. Due to the seriousness of what they are doubling down on, particularly that we were models when we had no idea (so either they are doing model treatments without people knowing and in unsafe conditions or are making up treatment histories to cover up incompetence) - I still plan to take this further with e.g the care commission and local authorities as it is scary and dangerous. I have a groupon receipt & photo evidence as proof. For anyone reading this considering treatment please just read the owner’s responses below - it’s clear they are untrustworthy, unkind, untruthful and unsafe. Go elsewhere and save your money, your time and your eyebrows! My experience was my experience whether it was 3 months or 3 years ago. Time doesn’t change it being genuine feedback. I didn’t give feedback at the time as we felt bad Maryam’s mother was unwell. However a completely different experience elsewhere made me realise how bad this was and I felt I had a responsibility to warn others. I have done model treatments elsewhere so don’t have a problem with them, but I knew it was a model treatment at purchase, price was massively reduced (not just discounted) and there should always be a trainer present. None of this was the case in this instance, which is 🤯. This was a birthday treat for mum who is nervous about anything sharp and has a skin type that scars easily, so we were looking for someone experienced. Neither of us had had this treatment before. She said she was experienced and she performed the treatment on us both herself without anyone else present. To be clear we never received nor were we offered free treatment although we wouldn’t have taken it anyway! We never went back for our touch up because we were too scared! My review is genuine, as are all my reviews - I don’t review often, and lately only when I’ve been peed off by bad service. I do have positive experiences, including other model treatments I’ve had ;) EDIT 1 IN RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: We did not have an old tattoo, this was our first time which we explained in detail prior to and during the appt. This was not a model treatment and we were not told it was a procedure carried out by a trainee - I have screenshot the comment from the owner claiming this to report to the appropriate authorities because it is completely unacceptable that we were models without knowing. I contacted Maryam who I believed was an independent practitioner and who told us that she had done this before. She represents herself on instagram also as someone experienced. We did purchase a discount through groupon, however it was still far more than I would I have expected to pay for a model treatment (and was more expensive than the place we now go to). I have purchased a groupon for several beauty treatments and none were model appts. Furthermore there was no teacher in sight! We were not offered any free treatments to rectify. We did a lot of research before going for Maryam and her Google reviews and treat well profile also seemed to indicate experience, although many of those reviews now seem to be missing. ORIGINAL COMMENT: AVOID FOR MICROBLADING - purchased microblading for me and my mum (for mum’s birthday) in 2020 and it was so incredibly painful for us both it was unbelievable. We could literally feel the knife slicing us. She left the tint over the eyebrows so we went out of the salon looking mental, and to top things off it faded COMPLETELY after like 3 weeks. LITERALLY nothing could be seen. Another practitioner advised that it was likely that the cuts were done too deep and therefore the dye was pushed out, which might also explain why it hurt so badly. Maryam was very nice before, during and after but ultimately the procedure was terrible. She did not explain the risks beforehand and did nothing on the day or after to rectify. Since going to a different practitioner, we know that the experience we had with Maryam was not normal; the place we go to now is completely pain free and the results look amazing and really last.

  Maryam Khoujja is an absolute legend she’s shes sooo amazing at skills happy with my eyebrows this is my 4th time getting micro blading i had it done else where and in Dubia But Maryam is a Master at her Microblading no one noticed it looks just like my hair xx i have also taken my sister and mother they are very happy 😊
