  Prior to approaching Mastercraft we had a couple of quotes from other companys that provided exactly what we asked for but ended up with a kitchen design that felt claustrophobic. Steve knew enough to consider our requests (all the worktops and cupboards) and run with them to give us a kitchen design that makes the room feel even larger than it is, provides all the storage we could ever want and still feels light and airy. Installation could have been a challenge in our 125+ year old house but the kitchen fitters managed to account for wavy walls, made good a floor with a 25 degree tilt and the electrician replaced a haphazard collection of ring mains from decades past with a modern, certified installation. We also had a large chimney breast removed so the whole project involved some major renovations. Steve also knew when to recommend cheaper alternatives to keep to our budget - the Bosch ovens and Elica induction hob are just as good as the comparable Neff / Siemens alternatives but cost a fraction of the price. Quality-wise all the cabinetry is sturdy and well constructed. The hinges and drawers are all soft-close by default which is a nice touch. The whole project has transformed the kitchen from just a place to cook to a real family room. It's hard to take pictures of a tidy kitchen as ours is always in use, so excuse the washing up!   We had a number of quotes from the usual high street names but felt a bit deflated with the designs we were offered. A bit like pushing boxes around into a space! But then we came across Mastercraft Kitchens and found their designer to be really helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The design and quote he came up with was by far the best we received, and that even included plastering, ceiling lighting and herringbone Karndean flooring. Now the kitchen is finished we are extremely pleased with it. It's really stunning and a dream come true. Service: Kitchen countertop repair

Any questions we had were answered and explained back to us in easy to understand terms and we ended up with the kitchen we really wanted all within our budget.   They stripped and fitted a new kitchen we was sold the dream and ended up with Poor quality workmanship, poor customer care, told us that they would leave the last £1000 as retention when we highlighted all the problems we was told just keep £1000 and sort it yourself We would definitely not recommend them👎 Service: Tile work installation

  Fantastic service from start to finish. Steve made the appointment at a time that suited us immediately after the initial enquiry, during the first visit he was very knowledgeable and suggest adaptation that we had not considered but adopted. A date was set that me our timeframe and this was stuck to despite us changing the design on the final measuring visit. The kitchen fitter, Carl was exceptional, highly skilled, extremely tidy, punctual and polite, despite several issues with the fabric of the building Carl managed to adapt and fitted us the perfect kitchen with an exceptional finish. During the build there were some very minor defect with a couple of panels and doors, replacements were ordered quickly and Carl came back to finalise the job in a very quick time. Other trades were involved, plasterers & electricians, this was all co-ordinated by Mastercraft and the quality of the work was exceptional. I would definitely recommend and would use again should we move and need another kitchen.

  I confirm that the following review is an accurate and truthful account of my experience with Mastercraft Kitchens. We purchased our kitchen on 7th December 2020. The process was initially relatively smooth and the company seemed interested before we parted with any money. We paid and the fitting began by the company on 22nd February 2021. It had however remained incomplete with several jobs outstanding until 16th September 2022. The work was completed after seeking assistance from the Federation of Master Builders. Although we tried numerous times to contact the company to reach a resolution, no contact back was made until the dispute raised with FMB. The kitchen is now complete and in my opinion looks of low quality. I regret using this company not only because of the poor customer service but also because of the look of the finished kitchen. Due to being unable to find much information regarding this company online, I wanted to share my experience in the interest of readers being provided with a fair and genuine account of my experience; so that they can make an informed choice when looking for a kitchen supplier. As an honest and hardworking family, a kitchen is a large expense to trust a company with. Unfortunately I found the company to be poor and unprofessional so on this occasion I am unable to recommend them or leave a positive review.
