Can't recommend this family run company enough.....the specialists were fantastic from start to finish. James put my mind at rest on the first visit with his honesty, knowledge and suggestions. Grace in the office was a joy to deal with and so, so helpful. The specialists who attended and completed the work (Kevin & Cal), were so professional, tidy, respectful and helpful. I was more than happy to allow them access to my property in my absence. However I would say the boys do prefer Chocolate covered Hobnobs and not Luxury Chocolate Chip Cookies...I was a little disappointed about this, having not known this beforehand, as I felt compelled to eat the rest and now have to work them off ;) ! I would highly recommend using this company. Thank you Harfords

James Clifford came to visit my property a couple of months back on the recommendation of my neighbour. When I purchased my house, my homebuyers report came back stating there was damp throughout the property. However after James came and looked at the walls in the building he could see the patches which I had thought were damp was in fact condensation. From his inspection he was able to find two parts of the house which had damp and he was able to come to this conclusion based on damp meters, physical and visual inspection. He was very upfront about the work which was required to be done and was also able to inform me where damp work was previously done in the house. When he came and visited he had not charged me a penny and I personally would not think it would be an issue if he did as he had also emailed a report, highlighting recommendations on what could be done in future and the cost of fixing the two sections of damp. From his visit I had saved thousands of pounds as I had a quote elsewhere and they informed me they had to damp proof the whole house. If I could give him more stars than the limit of five I would do so. It is not often you come across people who are honest nowadays and he could have quoted me work which was not required like the other damp companies. I would highly recommend an independent inspection from Harfords, if you suspect you have damp.
