I read the reviews for this garage and was confident to take my car here, I am pretty clueless about cars and explained that the front of my car was 'squeaking', I thought it may be something to do with the suspension but I wasn’t sure. The garage called me a few hours after to explain they could not find any real fault despite looking at all the major parts it could be. I spoke with Christian who explained everything in detail and gave me and idea of what it could be but it was more of a guess. I know from experience that garages have tended to 'guess' before, do the work and leave you with a hefty bill and the problem still being there. I was given the option if I wanted to have the work done on what Christian thought it may be, but advised it might not be that and it would be a lot of money to waste if it wasn’t the problem. They lubricated the moving components, and charged me less than £50. I have since driven my car home and no squeaking. I wanted to write this review as I know there are many people that take their cars to a garage completely clueless about the mechanics of them, it can be very easy to spill a story to someone who doesn’t know what you’re talking about and be believed. I feel confident to take my car here and know that I won’t be tricked into paying big money that was unnecessary. Christian was who looked after my car today, but I have spoken with the other mechanics when they did my MOT and I have to say they are a lovely, trusting, business.
