Very large marina but has a "no welcome feel" on making enquiries about mooring it was very difficult to work out if there is moorings avaliable or not. Facilities looked old , we ended up going elsewhere .

Canals make for lovely walks and cycle rides knowing you won't have to endure any inclines. The Harefield marina is a good example. My only criticism is that whoever is responsible for cutting back overhanging foliage and thorn bushes needs the sack. Some sections require you to crawl on your stomach to avoid being whacked in the face.
