Impossible to get an appointment for 6 monthly check ups for my cats especially for people who have 9am to 6pm jobs, they provide no appointments in the evening after work or any on weekends when people are off work, such a waste having to pay for the healthy pet club when I can not even get my cats seen, they really do not want to help to make it easier for working people, I was told one of the receptionists would ask the nurse if they can do anything about my situation and she would get back to me but no one has contacted me! Almost two months later and still have not been able to book health check up as no one in this vet is willing to help!

For 14 years & 11 months Harbour were her vets, and yet we didn't even get an acknowledgment of her passing. Probably because they wouldn't come out to us to put her to sleep, so we had to use a different vet for her final, and arguably most important, vet appointment. That was THE time for them to do what's best for her, and they failed. Again. Our dog was with these vets for nearly 15 years, and towards the end of her life when she needed the care the most, we felt thoroughly let down by Harbour time & time again. Even when we knew we only had weeks to go, rather then let us have a top up of pain meds, or listen to her owners about her behaviour, they insisted on a full 'medical' for her. This involved pulling her around & made her very uncomfortable, rather than just taking time to listen to her owners who knew she was usually a happy dog, but just had off days every so often. We were told we had to have expensive scans & medicines, despite the fact her kidneys had started to fail, so all we wanted was something to help if she was having a bit of a down day. In the end we couldn't even rely on Harbour when she was having a down day, or if we wanted advice, as all they ever wanted was to bring her in & stress her out with pointless procedures. If she had been a younger dog, with potential for recovery, of course we would've tried more options, but they made it quite clear that wasn't possible yet still offered the scans...after confirming she was insured each time. It felt like Harbour only seemed to care about getting money from us, or our insurance company, when instead our dog just needed a vet who listened, understood the situation, and could give her something if she did get uncomfortable. End of life care is exactly that, yet they seemed to try & turn it in to a money making exercise for themselves instead of making it about the pets.

Very thorough with my dog whenever she has been ill. They also give her an overall check when we visit which shows level of care. Had an excellent service over past 12 years

I have been registered at this vet for over 20 years on the whole they have been good to all our pets. A few weeks ago my dog had a scan to determine how many pups she was carrying and if she would be ok delivering them. We were informed that 4 could definitely be seen and possibly 1 more. A couple of days ago she gave birth to 5 wonderful healthy pups as predicted by the vet. She also went onto give birth to another 5, which are all healthy. Now I ask myself the following? Is their scanner not working? Do the staff need retrained? Did a scan take place? I could understand being out by 1, perhaps 2 but being out by 5 is quite a lot. How could they not pick up 40 feet, 10 heads, tail, spines? Ah well at least the dog is fine. Happy to discuss the feedback. My number is on your system

Have been taking my puppy here since I got her. Everyone is really kind, I get appointments reasonably quickly, the Healthy Pet Club is a good deal and we always receive the right help and useful advice.

The main doctor is not very professional. Every time I went there feels like they only interested in getting money off you. Adding up fees for check ups I didnโ€™t even ask for.

Very personable practice, always try to fit you in. They have been amazing throughout my late puppy's cancer and passing. Really feel like they care. I wish I could remember the names of some of the people who helped me. The receptionist who brought me my angels ashes and gave me a big hug and sat and talked to me, the vet who performed the procedure and gave me as much time and company as I needed, the vet who was always available for phonecalls throughout the cancer.

Not a great service, was told completely wrong diagnosis even after I suggested a problem wanted to hospitalise and take xrays on kitten. Took kitten home and after a few hours and a toilet was back to normal. So I'd say more interested in money than the problem .
