Recently moved to the area. Nowadays anything to deal with NHS is dreadful and definitely gives you anxiety, however both times I had used Harborne Medical practice - couldn't be happier. Perhaps I was just lucky, however feel very grateful. Receptionist was very polite and useful, so did both doctors I got to see. Thank you

A disgrace. Try to call and speak with a doctor? You got more chance to speak to the Pope in Vatican city. Call at 2pm... Right. U call at 1.55 u need to call back at 2 when we open the system. Call back at 2 automatic system full capacity. Its going on from 2 weeks. Thinking to report them.

Totally inadequate in all areas, thankfully I have found a new G.P. surgery with a caring, efficient staff that understands what the meaning of medicine and healing mean.

I've been with the surgery for about 10months. I've experienced more issues than problems resolved. My most recent issue was: Went in for blood test on 14th feb, Nurse Susan poked me for bloods twice in one spot. The needle kept coming out which tells me she did not guide the needle into a vain. She did it carelessly as she then said she could not get a vain. When I tried to assistant her by moving my arm up she said "no leave it there. The second time she poked me I said you keep taking the needle out. She retaliated and responded I an aggressive tone "I'm not taking it out, it keeps coming out". I asked if she would like me to position my arm higher she said no leave it there". She then said " I am disabled". I fail to understand what she meant by this statement. I acknowledged to her straight away, that I know all disabilities are not visible as I also suffer them myself to try and empathise with her. But why Susan having a disability would be an excuse why she couldnt get my vain until the 3rd attempt fails me, furthermore being aggressive in tone to a patient, I was already extremely anxious and worried ankut having bloods. I felt racisim, unwillingness to help, discrimination and vulnerable being judged already as I walked in as maybe not knowing how to communicatein English. I feel other patience have not spoken up about this if they have experienced it as I felt I couldnt challenge her, any further my main priority was to have my blood test done and leave. I felt i could not report to reception because management simply dont seem bothered to help. Previous week I did have an issue when the surgery Dr Adebayo had already booked my appointment on a day unsuitable for me where I had to make childcare arrangements to go there. I expaloned this to Laura reception manager she didnt seem so bothered to help sadly. Dr's like Meade and Mohammed, Payne are very good. Just the frontline staff are so difficult.

Absolute disgrace you call at 8am, no appointment you call at 2pm no appointment. How on earth do you get a call back to see a doctor. Also prescriptions removed without telling patient.

If I could, I would put 0 stars. The most disappointing gp clinic. I am with this clinic since 3 years ago and now it is terrible. During the past year every time I called to the clinic after waiting for at least half an hour on the line, they give you an appointment. The appointment runs by medical students who have 0 experience. They just ask about the issue and and say I would discuss it with the gp and call you back. This is really stupid. When there is a direct conversation between the patient and the experienced gp there will be a set of Q & A which never happens with a medical students. There were many occasions that I asked them questions about my problems and etc and they never knew the answer. This is the most ridiculous system I have ever seen. It used to be visiting the gp in person and then after covid it was mostly telephone appointments with gps and now medical students deal with your health problems with no experience. Amazing service from NHS!!!
