Having bought a Hot Tub and been given instructions on how to monitor and control the chemistry of it, we did have problems with a skin rash on one of the users. Michael described an instrument that was able to measure all parameters, The Pool LAB 1.0. More fiddley than a strip of plastic but much easier to use as the result is given in ppm and shown whether within range. No longer any need to have the right glasses nor to have the right light.
