We hired Hanson Coaches for transport to and from Heathrow Airport for an U16’s rugby tour, not knowing much about the company we decided to take the risk and book as their prices were the most competitive for the service we required. On the day the bus turned up 30 minutes late but the company had kept us informed as to why (a fallen tree across the road due to the recent storms). Once we had all boarded the bus and were on our way the driver had to take the M25 due to an accident on the M40 which had caused long tailbacks, this didn’t cause any problems until we hit major traffic due to an accident on the M25 but the driver was quick thinking and pulled off the motorway as soon as possible, navigating his way through very narrow flooded country roads. We were all nervous we might miss our flight but Martin managed to get us to the terminal with minutes to spare. On the pick-up we had a driver called Tom who rocked up in a brand new bus, this bus was awesome and the lads loved the fact it had USB chargers under the seats so they could all charge their devices. I was grateful of the smooth journey as I suffer with travel sickness. Tom went above and beyond, in my opinion, as a driver as when my lift home from the drop off point was unable to make it, he offered to drop us home as it wasn’t too much out of his way. I have passed on Hanson Coaches details to our rugby club as I hope we can send future work their way. I would highly recommend this company.
