Ordered two hanging baskets this year, as I had done previously. They looked great when placed in the car park for me to take home, with lots of height and trailing stems. Staff, as ever, we’re very helpful. The problem began when I lifted them into the car. Part of one of the trailing geraniums broke off. Got home and same happened when taking out of the car and then again when offering up to the bracket 30cm above my head. Now I have no trailing geraniums, just horrible gaps where they once were. I hate giving negative reviews and I am prepared to take some blame - but it should be blinding obvious to a company whose business is baskets and name contains ‘hanging’ of the likely distress some delicate trailing foliage and flower stems will suffer in transit and in positioning - especially if they cannot be supported by the person carrying the basket due to its weight. Not all of us have Range Rovers with oversized, hip-level boots into which to place effusive baskets. The likelihood of lifting vulnerable plants in heavy frames in and out of car boots and then into position on brackets above head-level without the ability to support should be taken into account when putting a display together. Smaller plants with less trail and more room to grow would have been better. Very, very disappointed but more upset that I have needlessly lost two plants. Will consider doing my own next year as @£45 for a damaged outcome is not worth the cost, effort or stress.

Only used the cafe for a lunch with friends. Booked a table in advance, very slow to take our orders but after that the food arrived in a reasonable time but they got one of our orders wrong, it was soon rectified. Our table was very close to the next, making it hard to get seated. Gets a bit noisy indoors. Sorry, only 3 stars, improvement needed.
