Me and my brother did the two day knife making as a birthday present, when we arrived Steve was super friendly and really interesting to talk with. Throughout the two days he made us both feel welcome and an excellent teacher. He took pride in our work and struck a perfect balance when it came to helping and taking over when we didn't feel confident, ensuring we were safe while making a knife we were proud of. I've been using my knife for months now and it looks just as good as the day we made it and still cuts better than any other knife I have. Gone are the days of crying when I cut onions. I highly recommend doing the knife making, not only do you get an amazing thing at the end but you also learn some new skills and Steve is wonderful.

Spent the day with a very entertaining Steve forging my first knife. Worth every penny - his instruction is calm, detailed and positive (if you get it wrong, you're off the christmas card list). Steve takes over with some of the finer details - if you make a mistake at this point you'll go home with a spoon or a bread knife. You can see the jouney in the images from the metal provided to the end product- "you're knife will cut!" Thanks Steve!

I just finished a 2 day Course with Steve last week, What can I say, Excellent all the way. A**** with excellent tuition. Steve is very knowledgeable in his field. We had Great Banter and I loved every minute of the course. I Will be booking another later in the year with my Son. I Made an awesome Santoko Chef knife. So chuffed. I have used it daily since bringing it home. Sharp is not the word, it is like a Razor. Happy Days. 5 stars all the way M8. Keep up the good work. See you soon.

We went on the two-day kitchen knife making course as a birthday present for my partner and loved every second of it! Steve is a brilliant tutor and gets the balance just right for handholding throughout the process. We are delighted with how our blades turned out and still can't believe we actually made them! The whole experience was made even better by Steve's commitment to creating an excellent blade and handle that was unique to both of us. Very genuine individual who is keen to share his love of the craft with others. 100% would recommend to anyone interested in a real forging experience and worth every penny. We are definitely going to try to come back!
