Mr Shyam conducted Basal thumb arthroscopy almost 3 week ago @ Spire. Since I’ve had no pain or took any pain relief, i have seen the physio twice and starting movement techniques Outside my splint. Surgery went really well and I’m over the moon post surgery. No thumb arthritis pain and just allowing it to heal naturally. Before meeting Shyam i was told i was to young to have a full Trapeziectomy. Which he agreed with. I had a course of PRP injections from Shyam which kept me going from Jan through till the end of May. I felt Shyam offered me 2 chances PRP and Arthroscopy. I wanted to explore PRP before i wanted surgery and was pleased with the results but arthritis on the basal thumb was to far gone PRP is great consideration for minor to medium arthritis. My other surgeon before Shyam offered me nothing Shyam has been a bloody God send. He’s pragmatic, humble and is very respectful which puts you in good stead for this Consultant to implicitly trust. What i like about Shyam no messing about straight to the point and very reassuring in what he can offer. In my eyes his a God like Genius. I’m one very happy customer.
