Contacted your offices in Richmond and informed them they are marketing a property for an Iranian citizen, a member of Iranian Revolutionary Guards now a terrorist organisation. It was explained to Elena and Graham in this office that in effect they are an agent of a member of a terrorist organisation and should cease representing him ASAP. Hamptons international does business in the US and need to be compliant with US government legislations.

Before bumping into Hamptons while I was walking in Mayfair, I had an exhausting experience with other Real Estate Agencies for different reasons. From promoting Apartments that don't fit my request to problems in regard to accommodating suitable viewing time for me, the Client. At Hamptons after I had put my request, I found the Apartment that fits my description at first viewing. I might be lucky too with the Agent, Hannah. Whom was very enthusiastic and responsive and did not try to pressure me towards a decision like other Agents from other Companies tried to do. Even after signing the contract and moving into the Apartment, Hannah continued her help on any Apartment related issues. Which normally may arise on the first two weeks after moving in.

A truly frightening letting experience from beginning to end. As a landlord, you'll be subjected to a cast of thousands. You'll truly be relegated to a face in the crowd and a general annoyance to Hampton's letting agency. Be prepared for them to send a stream of repairman to the flat at the tenants request, with inflated quotes on needless repairs without your authorisation. Expect a bureaucracy that rivals Stalinist Russia and an equivalent customer experience. From the start you'll be confronted by a contract that weighs about a metric ton, to protect them from any liability and ensure they can do whatever they want irrespective of your wishes. Don't say you weren't warned - you'd be better leaving your flat vacant!
