My Mum’s 1937 Art Deco mantle clock had virtually given up the ghost until I got Gary to repair it for me. Within 3 weeks he had given it a complete refurbish and is now working perfectly. Thanks to Gary a treasured family heirloom has been restored to me. Thanks Gary for your excellent restoration and service. Also Catherine for her able assistance . Peter Guyton

Had a question about a clock I inherited, was told that type of clock wasn't their specialty but gave me a couple of pointers. Advice was solid and now it works! Thank you.

I have been very cautious in choosing and trusting a clock repairer for our slate mantle clock as it is very sentimental to us. Consequently the years have passed and the clock remained unticking! I was so pleased that I finally settled on Hampton Horology to do the restoration. Catherine was very friendly and helpful and communication and expertise from Gary was second to none. The work completed was excellent and the clock is working extremely well. A very professional service.Thank you! I would definitely recommend Hampton Horology.

I have used Gary (and Catherine) for 2 clocks now. Both clocks were properly antique and challenging. Gary is clearly very skilled and has been patient and supportive with me. I am not skilled at making them work properly, that is not over winding, getting the chime count right etc. And Catherine is conveniently located, good at communication and very reliable.

A mid Victorian bracket clock has been passed down through two generation to myself. My father, born in 1899 remembers when a boy, the clock when he visited his grandparents. It failed soon after I inherited it about 20 years ago and was a worry to me for many years. However I recently felt that it justified being looked at by an expert so I located Hampton Horology locally, and took the clock to them. Gary telephoned to discuss what was necessary to make it operate properly, and we agreed the charge. The clock, which was returned to me about 14 days later now holds pride of place in my home. It was real pleasure to deal with such friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people.
