We went to the Music Festival to see Rick Astley and it is difficult to fault the experience. Easy to park and leave after the gig. Part of the experience is the chance to picnic in the gardens with food stalls and a couple of drinks bars with live music as a background. What is not to like!

This time we made use of the audio guide which is included in your ticket price - made an amazing experience even more incredible - even the kids were mesmerized. If you have kids set aside time to do the maze & to visit the magic garden ✨️

Hampton Court Palace is such an amazing place to visit. I did feel that the entry price is high compared to other places, however it does go to a good cause and also we did end up upgrading our tickets. Parking - it was full so we struggled to find somewhere. But it is right next to the train station and the River Thames. The palace it's self is absolutely huge, so even though it was busy, we didn't feel that you couldn't see or look at certain areas because of this. The staff members are all so knowledgeable and answered questions our children had. They had theatrics going on as well which really bought the place alive. Again, the children loved watching the actors. The grounds are very well kept and are stunning. We sat under a tree for our picnic, as we bought our own food, I can't comment on food on offer here. The children loved walking around the maze, which is on hard standing ground, this made it easy to walk with a pushchair. The Magic Garden was brilliant, the children loved this. It is also really well managed on times and entry. There was a queue to get in and to receive a wristband, but we didn't wait longer than 10 minutes and this was towards the end of the day. Perfect for us adults to sit down, relax in the sun and drink a coffee. They have toilet facilities nearby. As I mentioned, we did upgrade the ticket to a membership and I feel it was worth doing so. Brilliant day out.

Enjoy the beautiful flower field before the ticket check, it’s free for the public to explore. Spent about 2 hours doing the audio tour before going to the gardens. There are picnic areas if you want to bring your own lunch. Don’t miss the king’s staircase and queen’s staircase.

This was a very fascinating tour of the Hampton Court Castle. It's a must see with all the history and castle rooms decorated with time pieces. The gardens are beautiful to walk through.
