This was the first time I was trying SUP and 10 minutes later I was paddling along comfortably. Now I have a new skill which is in a way similar to cycling. I feel like all canals of the UK are waiting for me to paddle through. Thanks to Andy's patience and friendly teaching style as it is very important to be relaxed to be comfortable on the SUP. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon on a paddle boarding lesson with Andy. Very patient instructor and interesting to chat with about his paddle boarding adventures. Lesson over-ran as being shown how to take paddleboard around a weir but time was never mentioned by Andy. Very happy with the lesson. Would definitely recommend. Sarah

Fantastic morning with Andy who took us on a tour of the stunning local area and taught us with enormous patience! Think Old Dogs and New Tricks… Apart from some very special wildlife views we would never have seen on foot, we now feel confident to venture out on the water in the kayak I bought my husband last year in a moment of extreme optimism… Thank you Andy for such a great experience and for sharing your knowledge.

We had a great family paddle boarding lesson this morning with our boys aged 12 and 10. Andy was great at showing us the basics on dry land first, then putting it into practice in the water! We’re all beginners and thoroughly enjoyed our paddle along a really picturesque stretch of the river. Andy was calm and patient, shared his knowledge with us and we left feeling ready to go it alone next time! We’d highly recommend Andy and Hampton Court Paddle Sports!
